IRVINE, Calif. and SEOUL, South Korea- Sept. 26, 2019 — Badu Networks and Bigsun Systems, South Korea’s leading distributor and implementer of Xirrus APs and XMS Cloud Management solutions, recently acquired from Riverbed by Cambium Networks, have partnered to deliver a best-in-class enterprise Wi-Fi experience. Bigsun Systems’ customers can now take advantage of WarpGateway™, built on Badu Networks’ breakthrough optimization technology that overcomes enterprise Wi-Fi performance and throughput challenges other solutions can’t address.
On Wi-Fi networks, RF interference, fading, and channel access conflicts driven by a sudden increase in users create jitter. Network protocols such as TCP treat jitter as congestion, slowing traffic to prevent data loss until throughput collapses, even when plenty of bandwidth is available. As a result, connections drop, videos pause and applications stall, leading to poor employee productivity and unhappy customers. WarpGateway™ overcomes jitter-induced throughput collapse by leveraging Badu Networks’ patented WarpEngine™ technology to deliver up to 10x improvements in upload and download speeds on existing Wi-Fi networks for all types of traffic – encrypted, unencrypted or compressed.
